Excellent experience. We did the chefs tasting menu. Everything was excellent. The courses did take some time to come out at the beginning. My favorite were the seafood dishes and vegetarian dishes. They dry age all their meats so the flavors are very rich and heavy. I personally would opt to switch those out for their seafood. I was looking forward to their pavlova but it wasn't on the menu, but the macaroon I had was excellent.

Wonderful ambience, the restaurant week 5 course tasting menu was phenomenal! The caviar supplement was out of these world. Our waitress was very kind and helpful. We will be back for sure! Thank you Bresca!!

We were eager to experience this highly talked-about restaurant, especially after hearing so many glowing reviews, and it certainly did not disappoint! During Restaurant Week, we decided to try their five-course menu, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively, creating an energizing backdrop to the meal. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and made us feel both welcome and well taken care of. We were a diverse group, and the staff’s attentiveness ensured that everyone felt included and comfortable throughout our meal. We are truly grateful for such a memorable experience and are already looking forward to returning to enjoy more of what this wonderful restaurant has to offer.

My husband and I made reservations here to celebrate our 1-year wedding anniversary, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and the food was equally impressive. At 8 months ...

Tried the 5 course tasting menu at Bresca for DC restaurant week. The brioche stuffed chicken was hands down the best dish served. What a fantastically done dish. The Pavlova was also incredible! The cornbread was also quite wonderful! Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience here

Food was great, atmosphere was great. I cant say a certain dish stood out to our party, but everything was good. Staff was attentive. The wine pairing was great but our server was not great at pouring equal amounts to the guests of our party.

I had dinner here with a friend after wanting to try it for a long time. I could only get a reservation at the bar (which was honestly a bit strange) but still well worth it! We split everything we got, including the caviar, cacio e pepe, chicken and wagyu entrees. Everything was delicious but the chicken was by far the standout. It was cooked with stuff under glazed skin. It was maybe the best chicken I’ve had in DC. After dinner, we declined dessert but were served two Madeline cookies with a citrus glaze that was amazing. We also enjoyed speaking with the bar staff throughout our meal. I would definitely repeat! One of the best meals in DC.

BRESCA is a Michelin starred restaurant in Washington D.C. We opted for the 7 course Seasonal Tasting Menu and we have zero regrets. Of the Michelin starred restaurants in which I have dined, it is the most "casual". The food is exquisite and the service is excellent, but the dress is business casual, the table are a bit crowded together, and the whole vibe is more relaxed. This is not a bad thing, just something to keep in mind depending on the type of experience you are looking for. The Dew Drop cocktail needs to be highlighted- it was one of the best cocktails I've ever had in my life. The Kaluga Caviar Service was well worth the upcharge- it was absolutely spectacular. Don't miss the Brioche Chicken. The flavors blend beautifully and it's exquisitely cooked. The Australian Wagyu Ribeye was absolutely delicious, though I found the confit new crop potatoes rather forgettable. The house-made brioche is delectable, and the desserts (sorbet, chocolate tart, and madeleines) almost made me cry with joy. The servers were attentive, warm, and caring. We will return!
